COMPOSITION: Each tablet contains 500mg griseofulvin
INDICATION:?It?been shown to be very effective in the treatment of the following conditions caused by gram-positive aerobes such as Streptococci, Pneumococci and Staphylococci (including penicillinase-producing staphylococci) or by susceptible anaerobic bacteria
1. Bone and joint infections including osteomyelitis and septic arthritis
2. Skin and soft tissue infections such as celllulitis, abscesses, furuncles, impetigo acne and wound infections.
3. Upper respiratory infections including tonsilitis, pharyngitis, otitis media, finufits, scarlet fever and as adjuvant therapy for diphtheria.
4. Lower respiratory infections such as acute and chronic bronchitis- and pneumonia.
5. Septicaemia and endocarditis
6. Bacillary dysentary
7. Usage in Neonates.
